Carden Country School students have a heart for those less fortunate. For the past nine years, our students have raised money to support Escarly of the Dominican Republic through Children of the Nations. Their support enables Escarly to attend school and have her basic needs met. When asked if students would be willing to package meals again, they answered the call with a resounding, "Yes!" This year they doubled the meal count from 600 meals to 1200, confident that they could raise the needed funds. Now they are filling "Smile Packs" to be sent to the five countries COTN serves.
Being generous denotes an interest in the welfare of others and a discrimination in the recognition of values - a lesson embodied by our students and practiced daily!
