Mrs. Camelia Moody

Office Manager

Mrs. Moody began working as the school’s Office Manager in 2006.

She takes care of administrative details, schedules appointments and handles school communication. Mrs. Moody is usually aware of what’s going on at the school on a day-to-day basis, and is an excellent source of information for parents.

Mrs. Moody is the person you’ll call about such things as registration and immunization requirements, setting up appointments with a teacher, or child absences.

Her role also includes coordinating field trips and volunteers, organizing special events and after-school programs, as well as creating and distributing the newsletter.

Mrs. Ruth Caron

Founder, Master Teacher & Music

I grew up in Newport Beach, California, as the youngest of three children .  I graduated from Cal Poly, San Luis Obispo, and later went on to get my teaching credential and take graduate studies in music and English.

In 1988 I moved to Bainbridge Island with my husband, Tony, and our three children, Kurt, Jamie, and Alex, who are now grown.  In 1989 the Lord called me to start a Christian school.

Carden Country School opened in our basement in the fall of 1990 with nine students.  It now has over 40 students with 5 full time teachers, and a full auxiliary staff.  I retired from full time teaching in 2006, but I continue as the master teacher/mentor, and the music teacher for the school.  I am continually amazed at what God has done there.  His grace is sufficient for me.
